2 Livingston Parish Women Arrested on Drug Charges
The Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office has arrested two Livingston Parish women following an investigation into forged prescriptions at a local Ascension Parish pharmacy.
On June 3 the Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division was contacted by a local pharmacy and advised that Raelyn McAlister dropped off a fraudulent prescription for Adderall. Raelyn McAlister returned to the pharmacy later the same day to pick up the prescription for Adderall and dropped off a second fraudulent prescription. Narcotics detectives arrested Raelyn McAlister and Adrianna Sweeney who accompanied McAlister while picking up the prescription. Sweeney admitted to knowing the prescription was forged and that she was going to receive some of the medication from McAlister.
Raelyn McAlister, 30, of 20960 LaTrace Road, French Settlement, was charged with obtaining CDS by Fraud, possession with intent to distribute schedule II CDS (Adderall), and attempted obtaining CDS by Fraud. She was booked into the Ascension Parish Jail on June 3 and her bond has been set at $30,000.
Adrianna Sweeney, 17, of 20960 LaTrace Road, French Settlement, was charged with principal to obtaining CDS by Fraud, attempted possession of schedule II CDS (Adderall), and principal to attempted obtaining CDS by Fraud. She was booked into the Ascension Parish Jail on June 3 and her bond was set at $30,000.
